On February 5th we are going to go vote in the primaries. My plan is to vote for Obama. The choices are pretty clear:
- A vote for any Republican other than Ron Paul means more war, more economic stagnation, decimation of social security, health care, and education. Mitt Romney is an opportunistic slimeball, McCain is a Bush-supporting warmonger, Huckabee is a priest, and the rest are unelectable.
- Ann Coulter just "endorsed" Hillary. That can't possibly be good. The Clintons supported a number of initiatives that are contributing to the destruction of the middle class. From her support for H1B, to NAFTA and her subprime bailout plan -- she is doing everything she can to decimate the middle class. That is beside the fact that she voted for the war like a sheep.
Over the past year I've been blogging sporadically. I haven't been voicing my opinions on politics and influencing elections. Shame on me :)
That's because having a kid changes everything. Whatever free time I have now I want to spend with her. That said, though, after what I've seen on Chris Matthews this week makes me want to write on politics again. None of the democratic candidates delivered any useful information other than calling Hillary a flip flopper. Edwards, out of all people, accused Hillary of being unable to take a stand on an issue and hold on to it.

That is the same Edwards of Kerry-Edwards '04, remember them ?
I have little respect for Edwards and I don't take Obama seriously. This pile-on makes me want to vote in the primaries for Hillary.
