I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert.
Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed,
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains.
Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.-Percy Bysshe Shelley

Looks like I can finally stop cross-posting pictures and videos to Flickr, Vox and YouTube, because Flickr can now host videos and communicate with Vox directly.
Flickr now supports videos as well as photos. From now on I will be uploading videos to Flickr.
Does anyone follow my shared links on Vox ? That is how I blog most of the time these days. You can subscribe to the links feed using your favorite RSS feed reader.
Miriam is taking a nap and I have a chance to organize things.
Vox now has a cool link blogging feature, sort of like del.icio.us. It works great!
Here is my Link blog.
My wife Anna is now keeping a parenting blog as well: Life With Miri .
This is really sad. I don't have the energy to maintain my clip blog anymore. I do maintain a clip feed on Google Reader. You can subscribe to it in your own RSS reader and wherever my opinions used to be you can fill in the blanks :)
Holy crap! Congratulations Randy!
UPDATE: Wait a minute, it is April fools joke, right ?
I am finally done moving my blogs around. Yes, I know it breaks search engine rankings and possibly impacts subscribers. I also know that I can't justify paying hosting fees anymore. My blogging frequency has declined in the past few months; any free time that I have I'd rather spend with my daughter.
So, here is the new world order for me:
- My primary blog will be hosted here on Vox where you are reading this post. Vox is quite nice and it integrates well with Flickr and supports other types of media, including video. Also, post-by-post access control lets me post things that I only want family and friends to see.
- I will continue maintaining my software engineering blog which now is called "Quality on Time." I use it for professional networking and career.
- I will also continue my contribution to the political discourse in the U.S. by contributing to my column at Newsvine and archiving posts somewhere.
