I got junk mail from AIG the same week their bailout story was in the news. Then I got junk mail from Wachovia the same week of their buyout. It was almost as if they launched an ad campaign to show everyone it's business as usual for them. (I just opened accounts with a local bank, by the way.)
I know, they are acting as if nothing has happened!

Although, on the fair side -- both AIG and Wachovia need business to repay their debt to society. The only difference is that they don't seem to think that their executives should reimburse taxpayers for the last few years of bonuses.
